Job Summary

CoolSys is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Intelligence Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our business intelligence initiatives, leveraging data analytics to drive strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency. As the Business Intelligence Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that support our business objectives.

1. Develop Business Intelligence Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive business intelligence strategy aligned with CoolSys' goals and objectives.
2. Data Analysis and Visualization: Utilize advanced analytics techniques to extract insights from complex datasets and present findings through interactive visualizations and reports.
3. Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor business performance and identify areas for improvement.
4. Data Governance: Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data assets.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights and solutions.
6. Forecasting and Predictive Analytics: Develop forecasting models and predictive analytics to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
7. Database Administration and Development: Oversee database administration tasks including database design, optimization, maintenance, and performance tuning. Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure the integrity and reliability of data.
8. Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics and assess their potential to drive innovation and efficiency within CoolSys.
9. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of business intelligence analysts, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and development.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in business intelligence, data analytics, with at least 5 years of relevant experience of which 3 years should be in a leadership role.
• Expertise in SQL and database management systems, with experience in database administration and development.
• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
• Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience leading and managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
