CoolSys is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Intelligence to lead our efforts in harnessing data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and drive business growth. The Director of Business Intelligence will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to optimize data utilization across the organization, enabling us to deliver exceptional service and value to our clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall business intelligence strategy in alignment with CoolSys' objectives and growth plans.
• Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of all business intelligence assets.
• Data Analysis and Insights: Lead comprehensive data analysis, identify trends, and extract actionable insights to support strategic decision-making at all levels of the organization.
• Reporting and Visualization: Oversee the development of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to stakeholders.
• Data Infrastructure: Collaborate with IT teams to design and maintain a robust data infrastructure, including data warehouses, ETL processes, and BI tools, to support the organization's data analytics needs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders and functional teams to understand their data requirements and develop solutions that address their needs, driving operational efficiency and business growth.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance CoolSys' capabilities in this area.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing business intelligence strategies that drive measurable business impact.
• Strong technical expertise in data warehousing, data modeling, SQL, and data visualization, specifically PowerBI.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
• Must have extensive experience in a service–based industry. Experience in the refrigeration, HVAC, or facilities services industry is a plus.
