About the Position

The M&A Integration Senior Manager is responsible for serving as an organizational leader for the planning and execution of cross-functional integration activities for acquisitions.  This role will be instrumental in identifying and capturing synergy opportunities and ensuring due diligence findings inform the integration plan for value creation.  This role will work with the Functional Leaders and M&A team in evaluating the historical business processes, practices, and reporting policies of target companies and developing an integration plan that facilitates a successful transition to CoolSys’ business processes, practices and reporting requirements to ensure organizational alignment.  In collaboration with Functional and Operational Leaders, the ideal candidate will drive the process of recommending and implementing best practices, monitoring progress of integration activities, and creating both quantitative and qualitative dashboards & metrics to ensure a successful outcome.

 

About the Team

The M&A team is focused on continuing its expansion of in-organic growth through acquisition by building the M&A pipeline, creating and fostering relationships within the industry, driving the diligence process as well as leading the integration effort for acquired businesses. This is the fastest growing group within the Company and is looking to expand rapidly to support the emphasis placed on the M&A function by the Executive Team and Shareholders. The team is a very collaborate group and works with and presents to the highest levels of the Company on a frequent basis

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and project management of integration activities for add-on acquisitions, with an emphasis on project management, performance improvement, and furthering the development of systems, processes & metrics to ensure alignment with Coolsys’ exiting systems, processes, and metrics.
  • Partner with Functional and Operational Leaders to translate the due diligence findings, identified synergies, and integration requirements into functional tasks and a comprehensive integration plan to ensure value creation.
  • Implement appropriate advanced project management tools and techniques necessary for integration activities. This includes the development and execution of project plans/schedules; budget development and expense management; resource planning; and regular reporting to executive management on progress/status.
  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, tracking progress, resolving problems, communicating progress and recommending actions.
  • Evaluate the acquired business' operations, processes, systems and procedures for efficiency of workflow; identify process improvements and provides recommendations on solutions through automation and applying lean concepts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in corporate development, M&A, or project management or other related fields.
  • The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with an “ownership” mentality, and confidence in driving and managing change.
  • Ideal candidates will have prior experience leading integration activities for an organization or with an operations consulting firm, showcasing robust analytic and project management skills.
  • Has project management experience and has presented to leadership teams and Boards.
  • Comfortable interacting with a variety of skill levels with a demonstrated ability to lead through influence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of leading executive-level meetings and effectively managing various stakeholders, while also being hands-on in conducting analysis, creating presentations, and ensuring tasks are completed.
  • Enthusiastic about exploring diverse cross-functional challenges at all organizational levels, driven by intellectual curiosity.
  • Proficient in multitasking across multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, and adept at collaborating effectively across teams within a diverse and fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure & meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
